The new collection of photographic wallpaper from KEK Amsterdam is based on the so-called fungy collection by Roos Soetekouw. This collection focuses on woven patterns, inspired by the shapes, colors and textures of fungi and other micro-organisms. This collaborative piece for Knots Rugs was introduced through Lucy Upward at Cover magazine, this brought Netherlands based Fabric Designer Roos Soetekouw to the brands attention and the team were immediately struck by the elegance of her designs. Roos Soetekouw and Annemieke Koster from Enschede Textielstad have joined forces and have jointly started developing a series of interior fabrics.
